Global Village

Global Village is a place where people from countries from all over the world come to represent it and sell food and other stuff from their country to tourists and other people here. There were sections labeled and decorated according to the country it represented. I never knew that "Africa." was a country (all of Africa was summarized as one country, aptly labeled "Africa!") Africa was mostly drums and wooden toys, but they did have a music and dancing show thingy. At Afghanistan, I got a ball rock, a spherical green rock, and Afghanistan also had lots and lots of furs. 90% furs. literally. At Egypt, Dad got a chess set and Grampa got a glow in the dark painting that was given to him as a gift by the owner of the chess board shop because he sat a waited a long time for us. There was a UAE pavilion, but we didn't visit it. We did try a camel burger, I liked it a lot, but now it's on my conscience forever.

There were light up balloons that were being sold, and I rescued a SOFIA THE FIRST balloon from the water that I later gave to a little kid near the bathrooms. She didn't speak English and shyly walked away with her mom.

There was also a car show which turned out to revolve around a cheesy storyline about an Egyptian relic with superpowers. Other than that, the show was great, And pretty funny. The storyline was just plain weird. Henry liked the bikes with their super flips best and so did I.

The food was AMAZING. We ate fried Ice Cream, had the best Tacos ever, and ate camel, as well as some AMAZING kind of treat from Egypt.
