Hello! On June 22, (my birthday) we went to
Legoland. And the
Legoland Waterpark. It's kinda expensive, but
AWESOME. We got a Ramadan deal which means unlimited food and drinks!

The lazy river has bricks floating in it and little pads on the floaties that hold the lego bricks so you can build on your floatie. Me and Henry both built lego turtles and we memorized the design for them. Ellie and Greta collected colors of bricks and just stacked them on the floatie.

Eliza slipped on the steps of the Joker Soaker, racing Greta to Mom, and had to visit first aid.

We did family slide races. There were six slots in this one slide which is pretty perfect. Dad won both times. Me and Henry also went down a toilet bowl that you can go down in a floatie. Me and Henry both did a lot of belly slides.
The water temperature there is not the kind of warm that makes you have to go pee, not too hot, but not too cold either. It was about 115 degrees fahrenheit outside, but once we got wet it was ok. Mom and Dad took naps by the wave pool. And we ate at a place called the Waves Bistro which had awesome chicken burgers.
Then we went to Legoland Amusement Park which is right next to the waterpark.
First we went to MiniLand where people made a bunch of HUGE versions of the Burj Khalifa and other Dubai buildings out of legos and they also did other places that aren't Dubai like Egypt and a Bedouin camp in the desert and Petra in Jordan, and the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

We took a tour of a Lego factory. They made actual Lego bricks there and we each got one.
Waiting for the Dragon Rollercoaster.

The Dragon roller coaster was the biggest one at LegoLand but it was puny compared to the Mamba at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City that I went on last year and Henry said the Patriot there is pretty cool too.

We went to a pizza buffet for dinner. There were Lego pizzas and regular pizzas too. The pizza was about as good as Little Caesars.

Me doing lame driving school. They wouldn't go fast and you couldn't ram into other cars. Sad face.

Us putting out a "fire" in Legoland |
We stayed there up until midnight because that is when it is actually not an oven temperature outside. Being at an amusement park at midnight is very tiring. I fell asleep 10 minutes after my head hit my pillow.

The 4D movie was basically a 10 minute long infocommercial about LegoLand. Very Lame.

Pretty cool! And so smart to have all of you (kids included) contribute to the blog. I know how long a post takes to create, so this way you can stay on top of things! :) -Anna
